Fair Isle Tam - completed!

The Fair Isle Tam is completed!

:)

I am kind of pleased with how the colours turned out.

You may recall, this is my first attempt at Fair Isle knitting.

In fact, it was my first New Year's resolution to learn it!

Of course, I got a head start on this project back in November when Patons' blog had a KAL (knit-a-long).

Um, there are a couple of boo boos in this finished tam.

Nothing that will impact the wearing of it, of course.

Just cosmetic.

If you're on facebook, come on over and comment if you see what the boo boos are!
Be sure to become a fan of my page while you're there. :)

  1. Beautiful. I love the colors. This is quite an accomplishment! Who says old dogs can't learn new tricks. Great!

  2. Amazing work Anne. I'm not a knitter but I can't imagine that even a knitter could pick out anything amiss with this work of art.

  3. It's beautiful! And very inspiring for those of us who have never tried Fair Isle. I can barely knit.

  4. Simply beautiful!!! That's one thing I've never mastered (or really been too afraid to try) is all of those color changes in a pattern like that. Great job!!!

  5. Thanks everyone. I was always afraid to try it myself but since I learned socks last year I figured I'd better try something else new this year. It wasn't so bad. :)

  8. Very chic! I wouldn't know a boo boo if I saw one so I'm no help. Wishing you big sales with this awesome design.
